AeroCertPrep ("we", "our") makes the AeroCertPrep: AMT Study Guide app, an offline FAA Aviation Maintenance Technician exam study guide. This policy explains our data practices in plain language.
1. Information we collect
None. The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Specifically:
- No accounts or sign-in — the app has no user accounts.
- No analytics or tracking — we do not measure usage or behavior.
- No advertising — the app contains no ads and no advertising identifiers.
- No location, contacts, photos, or device identifiers are accessed.
2. How the app works
All study content — questions, lessons, flashcards, and demonstrations — is bundled with the app and runs entirely on your device. The app works fully offline and never sends data over the network.
3. Purchases
AeroCertPrep is sold as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. Payments are processed by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy. We do not see or handle your payment information.
4. Contacting us
If you email support@aerocertprep.com, we receive your email address and message so we can respond. We use that information only to answer you and never share it.
5. Children's privacy
The app is rated 4+ and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
6. Data sharing
Because we collect no personal information, there is nothing to share, sell, or disclose.
7. Data security & retention
With no data collected, there is nothing to retain or secure on our servers. Any emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's App Store listing.
